04 — Seasons

Year-Round Calendar

The Gulf Coast has two distinct seasons: the dry season (November through May) and the wet season (June through October). Both have their own charm.

Winter (Dec - Feb)
Peak season. Temperatures in the 70s, snowbird visitors, bustling restaurants and events. The Sarasota Boat Show, golf tournaments, and arts festivals.
Spring (Mar - May)
Ideally warm days, perfect beach weather. Spring break energy, boat parades, farmers markets at their peak, and the most pleasant time to explore the region.
Summer (Jun - Aug)
Hot and humid with daily afternoon thunderstorms. Fewer crowds, lower prices, and early morning beach walks. Great for boating and fishing at dawn.
Fall (Sep - Nov)
Hurricane season peaks in September/October. But fall also brings lower prices, fewer tourists, and the water is at its warmest. Oktoberfest and seafood festivals.
