Year-Round Calendar
The Gulf Coast has two distinct seasons: the dry season (November through May) and the wet season (June through October). Both have their own charm.
- Winter (Dec - Feb)
- Peak season. Temperatures in the 70s, snowbird visitors, bustling restaurants and events. The Sarasota Boat Show, golf tournaments, and arts festivals.
- Spring (Mar - May)
- Ideally warm days, perfect beach weather. Spring break energy, boat parades, farmers markets at their peak, and the most pleasant time to explore the region.
- Summer (Jun - Aug)
- Hot and humid with daily afternoon thunderstorms. Fewer crowds, lower prices, and early morning beach walks. Great for boating and fishing at dawn.
- Fall (Sep - Nov)
- Hurricane season peaks in September/October. But fall also brings lower prices, fewer tourists, and the water is at its warmest. Oktoberfest and seafood festivals.
