01 · Fixed-Route Buses

Breeze Transit

Breeze Transit is Sarasota County's public bus network. It serves the major corridors, with service along US 41 from Bradenton Station in Manatee County down to North Port. Breeze Transit Sarasota riders check the official schedule before they head out, because not every route runs every day.

• Single ride fare is $1.50; monthly passes are available.
• Fares are cashless via the Token Transit app, launched April 25, 2026.
• Buses generally run Monday–Saturday roughly 5am–11pm and Sunday 7am–10pm, with some routes without Sunday service. Always check the official schedule.
• Free WiFi on board, curb “kneel,” ramp access, space for up to two wheelchairs, and exterior bike racks.

02 · Curb-to-Curb Rideshare

Breeze OnDemand

Breeze OnDemand is Breeze's curb-to-curb, on-demand ride service, requested through the Breeze OnDemand website or mobile app. The fare is $2, and trips must start and end within the same service zone. Once a request is submitted, the destination can't be changed, so double-check your zone before you book.

There are four zones:

• Lido Key / Longboat Key
• Siesta Key
• Venice / Englewood
• North Port

03 · Accessible Transportation

Breeze Plus

Breeze Plus is the county's public paratransit service for riders qualified through the ADA, Transportation Disadvantaged (TD), and Veterans Medical Transportation programs. It offers door-to-door rides, and riders must complete an eligibility-based application with a disability documented by a qualified medical professional. Approval can be temporary, conditional, or unconditional.

• Fixed-route buses are wheelchair-accessible: ramps, two wheelchair positions, and kneeling buses, plus free WiFi.
• Seniors 80+ ride free on fixed-route service. Verify the current policy on the official site, as it can change.

04 · Free Trolley

77 Siesta Islander

The Siesta Key trolley is a free, open-air trolley that runs daily on Siesta Key, roughly 8am–10pm (with holiday exceptions) every 30 minutes. Its route connects Turtle Beach at the south end of the Key up through Siesta Key Village and the beach area, and per the official Chamber material it extends to downtown Sarasota. Point your riders at the official 77 route map for the exact stop list.

05 · Free Trolley

78 Bay Runner

The Bay Runner Sarasota trolley is a free, open-air trolley funded by the City of Sarasota. It connects downtown Sarasota, St. Armands Circle, and Lido Beach, runs seven days a week until midnight, with service roughly every 20–30 minutes. A stop around Ted Sperling Park near the marina area is commonly included, so use the official route map for exact stops.

06 · Free (Tips-Only) Rides

The Frog Hop

If you hear locals talk about the “Frogger,” this is the service: The Frog Hop is a free, tips-only, on-demand ride service on Siesta Key, with airport and all-of-Sarasota-area runs to Siesta Key per its official site. Bright green vans and an open-air trolley make it easy to spot. It runs daily, 365 days a year, roughly 8:30am–11:30pm with later weekend hours, so confirm current hours by phone before you rely on it.
